Welcome to Charla’s Tuition Academy! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our tutoring services. By enrolling your child or using our services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

1.1 Services Offered:
Charla’s Tuition Academy provides tutoring services for students aged 6–18 in a range of subjects, including preparation for SATs, GCSEs, and A-Levels.

1.2 Eligibility:
All students must be within the age group stated above and enrolled in the appropriate program for their academic level.

1.3 Communication:
All official communication will be conducted via email or phone using the contact details you provide at registration.

2. Enrolment and Fees

2.1 Registration:
To enroll your child, you must complete the registration form and provide all required information.

2.2 Fees and Payment:

• Fees must be paid in advance, as per the selected payment plan.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other methods outlined during enrollment.

2.3 Refunds and Cancellations:

• Refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the academy.

• If a session is missed by the student without prior notice, no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.

2.4 Late Payments:
Failure to pay fees on time may result in suspension or termination of services.

3. Attendance and Punctuality

3.1 Students are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled sessions.

3.2 If a student will be absent, the parent/guardian must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

3.3 Persistent lateness or absence may result in the student losing their place in the program.

4. Student Conduct

4.1 Students are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors, staff, and fellow students.

4.2 Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program without a refund.

4.3 Students must come prepared for each session with the required materials, such as notebooks, pens, and any assigned homework.

5. Learning Materials

5.1 Charla’s Tuition Academy provides study materials tailored to each student’s academic level and needs.

5.2 All provided materials are for the student’s personal use and must not be shared, copied, or redistributed without permission.

6. Liability

6.1 Charla’s Tuition Academy takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and well-being of students during sessions. However, we are not responsible for:

• Any injury or accident outside of scheduled sessions.

• Loss or damage to personal belongings.

6.2 Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is dropped off and picked up promptly for in-person sessions.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 All personal information collected during registration is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2 By enrolling, you consent to the use of your data for administrative purposes, such as scheduling, invoicing, and communication.

8. Program Changes

8.1 Charla’s Tuition Academy reserves the right to make changes to programs, schedules, and fees with reasonable notice to parents/guardians.

8.2 In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g... tutor illness), we will do our best to reschedule the session or provide a suitable replacement tutor.

9. Complaints

9.2 We will aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

10. Termination of Services

10.1 Charla’s Tuition Academy reserves the right to terminate services for reasons including non-payment, persistent absences, or breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

10.2 Parents/guardians may terminate their child’s enrollment with at least 14 days’ notice, provided all fees are paid in full.
